DIY Christmas gifts

Here are 5 ideas for easy do-it-yourself Christmas gifts, or anytime gifts!

1. Make a chalkboard out of a thrift store mirror or frame. This would make an incredible gift and it is so easy and personal.

2. Chalkboard the lids of some old baby food jars to label spices. You could even make a spice rub to fill the jars to give as gifts! Another idea is to use mason jars instead, then fill them with a cookie or hot cocoa mix.

3. Make a hanging picture frame trio with craft store frames, ribbon and scrapbook paper. You can find the tutorial here.

5. Felt gift card holders! This is a nice way to add a quick personal touch to a gift card. Just cut two rectangles slightly larger than your average credit card, stitch any design you want on the front and sew up three sides using embroidery thread.

I hope you're having as much fun as I am beginning to think about Christmas-y things.
