soft pretzels
Oh! The things you can do when you are no longer afraid of yeast! Yes, I did make soft pretzels today and my were they delicious! Soft, chewy salty and buttery...soooo good! Plus, it feels good to have another recipe under my belt that involves yeast that came out amazing! This wasn't all the recipe made, either! I plan to freeze some to pull out another day. When I freeze my bread immediately after it cools from baking, it still tastes perfectly soft and fresh when we defrost it--hopefully these will be the same way :)
Also, we did some Christmas decorating this weekend. I know, I know, my kids are the cutest thing you've ever seen.
