Wooden Crate re-do

I have big wooden crates I use as toy boxes in the kids' room. I re-painted them last week. I think this and the etched baby food jar tea lights will hold over my chevron obsession for now. Here is the before and after. I think they came out great! I like the dark stripe one better, but I'm not re-doing the other one...it'll do :)

I hope your week is simple and worry-free. My sewing to-do list is piling up, so I hope to have a few things to show you by the end of the week. Also, Saturday some friends are coming over to make tu-tu's!! Stay tuned for the tutorial next week!
